Learjet 45XR
Introduced in 2004 as a significantly updated, longer range version of the clean-sheet Learjet 45, the Learjet 45XR provides impressive gains in performance and cabin appointments. As with its predecessor, the 45XR’s fuselage is made principally from high-strength aluminum alloys built with computer-controlled manufacturing processes, resulting in precise assembly. The 45XR offers a 1,000-pound increase in maximum takeoff weight over the Learjet 45, as well as improved time to climb and higher cruise speed, thanks to its upgraded Honeywell TFE731-20BR turbofans. At maximum weight, takeoff roll from a 5,000-ft. elevation on a 25C day is 5,650 feet - an improvement of more than 3,000 feet compared to the Model 45.
