Dassault Falcon 50EX
So advanced was the original Falcon 50 for its time that it took 17 years for Dassault Aviation to improve upon it. The result was the Falcon 50EX, which retained all the features that made the original private trijet such a success, while enhancing several factors to improve its performance and efficiency. The Falcon 50EX cruises faster at high altitudes, flies further while burning less fuel, and generally outperforms the Falcon 50 in every respect. At 23.5 feet in cabin length, the Falcon 50EX retains its predecessor's total cabin volume of 700 cubic feet, while 115 cubic feet of baggage storage is available in internal compartments. Three, second-generation Honeywell TFE731-40 turbofan engines burn less fuel than earlier variants, and provide more thrust at cruise speeds along with enhanced performance at high altitudes and hot temperatures.
