Cessna Citation Ultra
Few private jets in its class compare to the Cessna Citation Ultra (Model 560) in terms of cabin dimensions, speed, and takeoff distance. Announced in 1993 and named Flying magazine's "Best Business Jet" one year later, the Citation Ultra introduced the Honeywell Primus 1000 EFIS glass cockpit to the C560 line, as well as more powerful Pratt & Whitney JT15D-5D engines with 3045 lbs of thrust apiece. The Ultra can complete a takeoff in just 3,200 feet while loaded to its maximum takeoff weight of 16,300 pounds, and has storage space for twenty-six cubic feet of baggage, or about 600 lbs. of suitcases, golf clubs, or whatever else passengers wish to bring on their trip.
