Hawker 400A
The Hawker 400A marks the culmination of years of optimization of a design that originated with the Mitsubishi MU-300 Diamond, and later the Beechjet 400. Introduced in 1993, the Hawker 400 is an ideal private jet for short trips, striking a balance between comfort, performance, and operating costs that make it a competitive option for business clients. The spacious cabin offers an improved layout in the same square footage of previous Beechjet models. The oval cabin shape with a flat floor maximizes the amount of usable cabin space, offering seating for seven passengers while cruising at over 400 knots powered by two fuel-efficient Pratt & Whitney JT15D-5 turbofan engines. Five years after its release, Beechcraft further improved its design and released the Beechjet 400A with a redesigned fuel system offering longer range with higher takeoff weight.
