Cessna Citation CJ3
Considered by many private jet owners to be the "right-sized" version of the CJ line, the Cessna Citation CJ3 (Model 525B) offers a 2-foot fuselage stretch over the CJ2+, providing more room for passengers as well as approximately 150 nm additional range. Introduced in 2002, the CJ3 offers the capable Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics package designed for single-pilot operation, while its customizable cabin typically has six club seats in a center-style configuration with an accessible in-flight baggage compartment and external baggage access. The CJ3 is also extremely fuel-efficient, often beating Cessna's own fuel burn estimates of just 150 gallons per hour with its two Williams FJ44-3A turbofan engines, each of which delivers 2,780 lbs. of thrust on takeoff - 480 lbs. more than the CJ2.
