Entering service in 2000 as the first derivative of the Model 525 Citation Jet, the Cessna Citation CJ2 (Model 525A) private jet is simply bigger, faster, and better than preceding CJs. The CJ2 offers a 33 cabin stretch over the CJ1, a similar increase in wingspan, and a significant 30-knot bump in speed over the earlier model, as well as improved range, maximum takeoff weight, and maximum fuel weight.
